Verification of the statistical reliability of simulation results in OPNET Modeler environment
Fördős, András ; Vajsar, Pavel (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
Project is focused to verify the credibility of the results of statistical simulation in the surround of OPNET Modeler. At the beginning of the project is a short introduction to the problematic of OPNET Modeler. It describes the basic concepts of mathematical statistics, data types and some basic statistical charakteristics. In the project was created model of LAN network, were set up three different types of runs and several monitored statistics. In this project are listed setting of the model, startup parameters of some runtime simulations, prefered variety of statistics and the possibility to display final results of statistics. Description of options displaying final results of statistics is supplemented by model characteristics. Created model was further extended and modified. Have been added network services, has changed the number of nodes and the duration of the simulation. Results of analysis of the original scenario are compared to the results of a modified scenario, which are scheduled. At the end of this project are obtained result, recommended way and form of displaying basic statistics and advice on the number of simulation runs needed to obtain reliable results.
Draft of Optimization of Web Application for B2B
Kovařík, David ; Weirich, Pavel (referee) ; Řešetková, Dagmar (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to design optimization of a webpage application designated for the B2B sector, which should improve a user experience in a significant way. A user experience issue was solved by analytical activities oriented on the webpage of www.webstopar.cz. The results of the analysis were supplemented by a qualitative research. The result of the bachelor thesis is a design of optimization of particular aspects of a user experience. The design implementation should improve the webpage quality from the point of view of a user experience and also bring the benefit of 10% increase in users of the service offered on the webpage. Moreover, the final design of this work is generally applicable for a large variety of Czech and foreign webpages.

Witness and his testimony in civil proceedings Abstract The submitted diploma thesis deals with the testimony of a witness in civil proceedings. This is undoubtedly the most demanding means of proof. Its demanding character is given not only by the necessary preparation of the judge before this act, but especially in the subsequent assessment of the credibility of the testimony given. The diploma thesis aims to comprehensively describe the course of the carrying out witness testimony from the moment the witness enters the courtroom to the assessment of the witness's credibility within the reasoning of the court decision. Apart from the testimony, the introductory chapter deals with all the evidence means that can be presented in the Czech civil process with reference to their differences and similarities. Novotníková, Radka ; Silverio, Robert (advisor) ; Štoll, Martin (referee)
The subject of this thesis is to examine the work and thinking of Czech documentary photographers, and to evaluate how they are dealing with authenticity not only in photography but also in their professions; as it is perceived as an objective way to capture reality. Photography is considered a proof of existence of the captured moments and that is why it is often perceived as a trustworthy medium. However, it is frequently neglected that photographs are moments detached from time and context, and that they are subject to the author's thinking and decision on how the situation is going to be captured and presented to the public. In the theoretical part, this thesis is dealing with the definition of authenticity and the perception of photography as an object that is credibly portraying reality of the world. These findings are consequently compared through opinions of six Czech documentary photographers, that were obtained through interviews.

Zhuravova, Nadezda ; Mazurová, Lucie (advisor) ; Pešta, Michal (referee)
The aim of this graduation work is theoretically describe and also demonstrate the practical application of the theory of credibility in the multidimensional case. This theory is one of the most frequently used methods for calculating premiums, expected claims frequency or the expected average amount of damage. In this work we describe multidimensional Bühlmann-Straub credibility model and two- dimensional model with a known distribution. For each of these models we derive credibility estimate and examples of using these estimates in practice. Both models are compared on simulated data. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
